Although...

In my little state of "Bah, Hallowe'en", I did manage to help the kids out with a little Haunted Gingerbread House.

And, aside from Munson having to be told numerous times to quit eating the candies (notice the missing jelly beans on the roof?), we did have fun. As well, much to Evan's delight, there was TONS of yummy orange icing leftover to lick...(and have strange looking orange-stained fingers for the remainder of the day).

That's really cool. I may enlist you to show me how to make a gingerbread house at Christmas. I've enver done it before and I think I'll need some guidance.

What a cute idea! I have never seen a haunted gingerbread house before. That looks fun. We always do them for Christmas, but I may try this too.

~pssst....it was a kit~
But, if you want to try it out, we should get together in December and make a Christmas one.

I have never seen a house like that before! What a marvellous idea!
Next year, now that I have the heads up I'll be making one for the kiddies as a surprise. They'd be thrilled.
